Let’s Talk About It!

Some bonds defy reason, defy memory, defy even time itself. Ari and Auovin’s connection is one such enigma. One that lingers in the spaces between truth and buried pasts. Their story in Daevas -I- begins not with certainty, but with a question: Who is Auovin, and why does Ari feel drawn to him in ways he cannot explain?

Ari:

Ari is a young demon hunter who should be concerned with duty and survival above all else. And yet, his thoughts are consumed by the unsettling familiarity of a demon he has only just met. Auovin’s presence unnerves him—not because he is dangerous, but because something inside him remembers. But remembers what?

He is driven by an insatiable need to uncover the truth, even when those closest to him warn against it. He is stubborn, reckless, and unwilling to accept the unknown. But beneath his rebellious nature lies something deeper. A longing, a recognition that he cannot place. His connection to Auovin is undeniable, though he does not yet understand what it means.

Auovin:

Where Ari is relentless, Auovin is unreadable, contradictory. He is distant, guarded, offering only enough to pull Ari in before pushing him away, disappearing like a phantom. He answers questions with silence, meets longing with restraint, and yet—

He lingers.

There are moments when his walls slip, when something flickers behind those golden eyes. Something that hints at familiarity, at knowledge he refuses to share. But why? Why does he keep Ari at arm’s length? Why does he refuse to acknowledge the invisible tether between them? What is it that he knows?

Their Tension, Their Mystery

Ari and Auovin’s story in Daevas -I- is not one of certainty, but of questions. What binds them? And why does Auovin seem to already know the answers?

One wants the truth, the other hides it. And as their paths intertwine, the answers Ari seeks may come at a cost he is not ready to pay.

What do you think? Would you chase the truth, no matter the cost? Or would you leave the past buried, knowing that some things should remain that way?
